Glendale Youth Alliance

♦Glendale Youth Alliance (GYA) is a nonprofit organization and a partnership between government, education, businesses and our community. Glendale community leaders established GYA in 1993 with a mission to provide jobs and employment preparedness training for Glendale's low-income youth ages 14-24. GYA programs are designed to build civic values in Glendale youth, provide a foundation to learn job skills and to become productive participants of the workforce. GYA operates six programs on a spectrum that provide mentored employment to youth and has provided first time employment and training to over 6,500 Glendale area youth.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Kiwanis Duck Race and Glendale Youth Alliance. GYA sold 177 ducks which amounted to $855.00. We thank each and every one of you for your dedication to the youth of our programs!!! GYA is recruiting for the year-round programs and will be accepting applications as of September 1st ..
